There are two categories of membership in our Association: membership (full membership) and associate membership.

Members of the Association may be legal entities or individual entrepreneurs of both the Republic of Kazakhstan and other states, established in accordance with the current legislation, sharing the goals of the Association, the established requirements of the professional standard, having higher professional education, recognizing the provisions of this Charter and able to contribute to the implementation of the goals and objectives of the Association.

At the same time, those joining the Association must be specialists in financial planning or carry out activities in the field of personal financial or investment consulting, supported by relevant documents on obtaining special education.

Associate members may be legal entities and/or individual entrepreneurs who are members of other Associations (self-regulatory organizations) of the same type, international organizations, associations, unions, associations of foreign financial institutions, non-profit organizations of the Republic of Kazakhstan and their associations, Kazakh companies with state participation, as well as other persons.

In order to start the process of joining the Association, it is necessary:

  • Send to the address info@eaifa.org an e-mail in free form about the intention to join the Association, fill out an information sheet according to the form and send it as an attached file in the format .xls (download the information sheet form)

Send the following paper documents in scanned form, and then transfer them to the Association’s office (by mail or courier):

— the candidate’s application with the seal of the organization (if any) and the signature of an authorized person (see the sample application for individual entrepreneurs; for legal entities);

— a copy of the candidate’s Charter with all applicable amendments and additions to it, certified by the candidate (if the candidate is a legal entity);

— a copy of the protocol (decision) of the candidate’s governing body, which approved the candidate’s entry into the Association, certified by the candidate (if the candidate is a legal entity).

As soon as the office of the Association receives the original application with all the attached documents, the candidacy will be submitted for consideration by the Association Council. The decision taken by the Council will be immediately communicated to you.

After a positive decision has been made, the accepted members of the Association make entrance and monthly membership fees in the amounts and in the manner established by the Association Council.

When changing and in order to change the category of membership in the Association, it is necessary to fill out the appropriate Application form.
